Terms & Conditions

By browsing or using Washington County Busted Mugshots, you agree to these conditions. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.

This is a privately owned reference site with no affiliation to a government body, sheriff, jail, court, or corrections department. Neither this site nor its advertising partners is a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency, and neither offers FCRA-covered credit, employment, insurance, or tenant-screening services. The site only helps visitors locate Washington County and Kentucky records resources.

Nature of the Site

This private guide is independent of all government offices. It does not store official records and cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, or submit a filing.

Its pages point readers to Washington County jail and arrest-record resources, Kentucky correctional and court systems, and independently operated research tools.

Acceptable Use

  • Use the site only in compliance with applicable law.
  • Do not use information to stalk, harass, intimidate, or threaten anyone.
  • Do not base employment, housing, lending, credit, or insurance decisions on site content.
  • Do not try to enter accounts, systems, or restricted areas without authorization.
  • Do not deploy bots, crawlers, or scrapers against the site.
  • Do not interfere with service or another visitor’s access.

No Consumer Reports or Screening

Washington County Busted Mugshots is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It supplies no background check, credit report, or consumer report, and its advertising partners do not provide screening services through this site. You agree not to use site information for:

  • hiring, retention, promotion, or termination decisions;
  • tenant selection or other housing decisions;
  • creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing;
  • licenses, permits, benefits, or government-program eligibility; or
  • any other purpose regulated by the FCRA.

Links Are Not Endorsements

The site links to sheriff and corrections pages, courts, federal locators, legal resources, news publishers, and outside search services. Those destinations control their own content, privacy practices, uptime, and terms. Review their rules before using them.

Service Provided “As Is”

The site and its content are supplied “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranty that:

  • information will always be accurate, complete, or current;
  • access will be continuous;
  • the site will be free of errors, defects, or security weaknesses; or
  • a partner search will return every relevant result.

Custody and public-record information changes frequently. Nothing here is an official statement from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, jailer, court, or another government agency. Verify information at its originating office.

Limits of Liability

To the fullest extent Kentucky and other applicable law permits, the site, its owners, and its partners will not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or other damages arising from access to or use of the site.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold the site and its operators harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

Ownership of Site Materials

Unless otherwise identified, the text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Washington County Busted Mugshots or its content partners. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or republish them without prior written permission.

Revisions to These Conditions

We may update these terms at any time. Revised conditions take effect when posted on this page, and continued use after posting signifies acceptance.

Suspension or Termination

We may restrict, suspend, or revoke access at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice.

Kentucky Law Applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Kentucky.

If One Provision Is Invalid

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be adjusted only as much as necessary, and the remaining terms will continue in effect.
